New Job, New Challenges...

I applied for an art teaching job about a year ago, and now I will be working part time, teaching others how to paint :D Its through a company called Wine and Design, where people come and bring wine and paint whatever painting they choose. http://www.wineanddesignus.com/Columbia.html
With this comes new challenges, as to how to invoke the attention of a room, as well as being able to paint a variety of things. If someone were to teach you how to paint, what would you want them to show you?
